The heist occurred at about 4:05 p.m. at Citizens Bank, 10650 Bustleton Ave., when the crook entered the bank, brandished a handgun and demanded money from a teller, authorities said. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash westbound on Parlin Street, possibly in a light-colored Chrysler PT Cruiser or hatchback. No injuries were reported.

Authorities described the robber as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a thin build. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a light-colored baseball cap with sunglasses.

He is considered armed and dangerous. Call the FBI at 215–418–4000 to report information. Callers may be eligible for a reward and may remain anonymous. ••
